Viruses
Viruses cause colds and flu. Viruses spread when uninfected people inhale droplets in the atmosphere caused by the coughing or sneezing of infected people. Colds and Flu can also spread indirectly when you touch something with virus droplets on it and then touch your eyes, nose or mouth.

Cold Symptoms
Symptoms of the common cold usually begin two to three days after you have been infection and often include:
- Nasal discharge
- Obstruction of nasal breathing
- Swelling of the sinus membranes
- Sneezing
- Sore throat
- A cough
- A headache
- Fever
